BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Everything you’ll need for your application
Preparing the correct information and supporting documents before you begin will make the application process quicker and easier.
Please have the following ready
- A clear copy of the applicant’s South African ID, passport or birth certificate
- The applicant’s most recent audiogram, where available
- Relevant medical or audiological reports
- A quotation for the requested hearing device, treatment or service, where available
- Proof of household income or supporting financial information
- Medical-aid information, where applicable
- Any additional documents that may help us understand the application

01. Complete one application per person
Each application must relate to one individual requiring hearing support.
02. Applications are reviewed individually
Support is considered according to the applicant’s circumstances, supporting information and the funding available.
03. Assistance is not guaranteed
Submitting an application does not automatically mean that funding or equipment will be approved.
04. Your information is treated confidentially
Personal, medical and financial information will only be used to assess and administer the application.
